All of my workstations have basic firewall settings to allow for internet connectivity. I hadn't had any issues updating any of the other PC's on the network. I was able to update on my workstation fine.
I first noticed the issue when I tried to update the freshly reset PC's. Prior to this I hadn't noticed anything and no one was reporting any issues. All of the windows defender updates we're working fine. All of the PC's we're running 21H1 and when I ran the upgrade assistant on the problematic PC's I was able to update them to 21H2. The latest November update was the first to start creating errors for the other PC's on my network. I noticed this when I tried to update my work laptop and was met with an error on the update files.
It was at this time that I had my revelation. This is why I was so embarrassed, I completely forgot that I had done this and instantly realized where I should look to see what the issue was. I'm pretty embarrassed with my inexperience on full display here. I'm a one-man shop and this just clearly shows I need a better way to keep track of any network changes I make.
